* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  PEMBINA COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA AND
  KITTSON COUNTY IN NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

* UNTIL 1015 PM CDT

* AT 703 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN WERE MOVING ACROSS THE
  CAVALIER...SAINT THOMAS...HALLOCK...LANCASTER...KENNEDY AND
  DRAYTON AREAS.

* KARLSTAD...PEMBINA...HALLOCK...CAVALIER AND CRYSTAL WILL BE
  AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES SHOW THAT 2 TO
  3 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN ACROSS THESE AREAS LATE THIS
  AFTERNOON WITH ADDITIONAL EXCESSIVE RAINS ANTICIPATED DURING THE
  EVENING LEADING TO FLOODING. RESIDENTS IN LOW LYING
  AREAS...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE TOUNGE AND TWO RIVERS RIVER AREAS
  SHOULD BE ALERT TO FLOODING.

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT =MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.
