THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND FORKS HAS ISSUED A

* TORNADO WARNING FOR...

  WESTERN PENNINGTON COUNTY IN NORTHWEST MINNESOTA AND
  EXTREME NORTHWESTERN RED LAKE COUNTY IN NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

* UNTIL 1145 PM CDT.

* AT 1116 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  TORNADO 7 MILES NORTH OF WYLIE...OR ABOUT 11 MILES SOUTHWEST OF   
THIEF RIVER FALLS...MOVEMENT WAS TO THE NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

* THIS UPGRADES THE PREVIOUS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING ISSUED FOR 
WESTERN PENNINGTON COUNTY. IN ADDITION TO A POSSIBLE TORNADO LARGE 
HAIL HAS BEEN REPORTED WITH THIS STORM.

* THE TORNADO WILL REMAIN IN RURAL AREAS OF
