* AT 609 AM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A     
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR CEDAR CREEK...OR ABOUT 8 MILES WEST OF    
  BASTROP...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE...
  3 MILES NORTHWEST OF CAMP SWIFT AT 625 AM
  5 MILES WEST OF LEXINGTON AT 715 AM

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING ACROSS CWA THIS MORNING WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH MID MORNING AS SECOND JETLET ROUNDS TROF AND
RAPIDLY LIFTS SHORT WAVE EASTWARD.  FIRST ROUND MOVING RAPIDLY WITH
RAINFALL RATES ONE TO ONE AND A HALF INCHES PER HOUR.  EXPECT
FRONTAL BOUNDARY TO SAG INTO FORECAST AREA AIDED BY RAIN BUT MAKE
LITTLE FURTHER SOUTHWARD PROGRESS AFTER SHORTWAVE EXITS THIS MORNING
AND IN FACT MAY SEE LITTLE IN THE WAY OF ACTUAL WIND SHIFT TODAY.
ELEVATED (AND SEVERE) CONVECTION TO REMAIN NORTH AND JUST EAST OF
SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS ALONG 850 FRONT WHICH APPEARS TO REMAIN
STEADFAST THROUGH THE DAY.  EXPECT STRONGER CONVECTION AS STORMS
APPROACH MAXIMUM INSTABILITY EAST OF AUS-SAT LINE WITH MARGINALLY
SEVERE STORMS NORTHEASTERN ZONES WHERE ELEVATED CONVECTION STILL
POSSIBLE.  STRONGER FRONT STILL ON SCHEDULE FOR LATE FRIDAY EARLY
SATURDAY.  MODELS DOUBTFUL AS USUAL ABOUT MOISTURE RETURN BUT GIVEN
PROGGED LOW LEVEL FLOW AND DECAYING TROPICAL MOISTURE ALOFT WILL OPT
FOR GOOD CHANCE OR BETTER POPS THEN.  TEMPS MODERATED TODAY WITH
CLOUD COVER AND RAIN WILL RECOVER SLIGHTLY FRIDAY THEN COOL
