THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING HAS BEEN EXTENDED FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  LAVACA
  DEWITT
  KARNES

* UNTIL 300 PM CDT

* AT 1246 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED LIGHT TO MODERATE
  SHOWERS CONTINUING TO TRAIN ACROSS THE COUNTIES. MOVEMENT IS NORTHEAST
  AT 15 TO 20 MPH. EVEN THOUGH THE HEAVY RAIN HAS DIMINISHED...RUNOFF
  FROM PREVIOUS RAINS WILL STILL CAUSE RESIDUAL FLOODING.    

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
