COLD FRONT APPEARS TO BE LOCATED JUST WEST OF ROUNDUP TO NEAR
BILLINGS.  SOME SHOWERS WERE OCCURING ALONG THE FRONT WEST OF ROUNDUP.
MORE WIDESPREAD SHOWERS WERE OCCURING ACROSS NORTHEAST MONTANA TO NEAR
MILES CITY.  THESE SHOWERS WERE OCCURING IN THE VICINITY OF A WEAK
SHORT WAVE.  AS THIS SHORT WAVE CONTINUES MOVING EAST THIS MORNING...
ASSOCIATED SHOWERS SHOULD EXIT THE CWA.  HOWEVER...MORE THUNDERSTORMS
WILL LIKELY DEVELOP ALONG THE FRONT AND SPREAD EAST THROUGH THE
FORECAST AREA.  BEST CHANCES OF PRECIP WILL BE EAST OF A MILES
CITY-SHERIDAN LINE.  LIFTED INDICIES WILL APPROACH -3 ACROSS FAR EASTERN
MONTANA THIS AFTERNOON.  LOW LEVEL WIND PROFILE AHEAD OF THE FRONT
WILL ALSO SUPPORT STRONG THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON. PRECIPITABLE
WATER VALUES WILL BE AROUND 1 INCH...WHICH ALSO FAVORS VERY HEAVY RAIN
WITH THE THUNDERSTORMS.  WILL UPDATE CLOUD FORECAST MOST LOCATIONS.
CURRENT POP FORECAST LOOKS ON TRACK WITH SCATTERED CENTRAL ZONES AND
LIKELY EASTERN ZONES.  MOORE

ARE IN VERY GOOD AGREEMENT. THE MODELS BUILD A RIDGE ALONG THE WEST
COAST AND PROGRESSING IT INLAND OVER THE ROCKIES/PLAINS. THE RIDGE
AMPLIFIES ON FRIDAY DUE TO DEEPENING TROFS ALONG THE WEST COAST AND
THE OHIO VALLEY. MIX DOWN TEMPERATURES ON FRIDAY ACCORDING TO THE
LATEST AVN COULD REACH THE 90S ACROSS THE AREA WITH 700 MB TEMPERATURES
NEAR 14C. HOWEVER...WILL NOT CHANGE CURRENT FORECAST FOR THIS...WILL
