SOUTHEAST ARIZONA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TUCSON AZ 215 PM MST MON AUG 21 2000 SYNOPSIS...HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL MOVE INTO THE SOUTHERN ROCKIES BY THE MIDDLE OF THE WEEK...AND REMAIN IN PLACE THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND. THIS WILL ALLOW SUBTROPICAL DISTURBANCES TO MOVE ACROSS NORTHWEST MEXICO...AND BRING DEEPER MOISTURE AND MORE WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY INTO SOUTHEAST ARIZONA. DISCUSSION...A VERY QUIET AFTERNOON SO FAR ACROSS SOUTHEAST ARIZONA. DEWPOINTS HAVE FALLEN INTO THE MID 40S TO LOW 50S FAHRENHEIT DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.
