THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
  SEQUOYAH COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL OKLAHOMA
  ADAIR COUNTY IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA

* UNTIL 415 AM CDT

* AT 1209 AM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  A CLUSTER OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS OVER SEQUOYAH AND
  ADAIR COUNTIES. THE HEAVIEST RAINS HAVE FALLEN ACROSS THE NORTHERN
  PART OF SEQUOYAH COUNTY NEAR TENKILLER STATE PARK AND ACROSS
  SOUTHERN ADAIR COUNTY NEAR BUNCH. RADAR ESTIMATES THAT BETWEEN 2
  TO 3 INCHES OF   RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER THE WARNING AREA. ANOTHER 1
  TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 415 AM CDT.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
