COAST SEA BREEZE FROM TAMPA BAY NORTHWARD WITH OTHER WIDELY SCATTERED
STORMS OVER SOUTHERN INTERIOR. PORTIONS OF PINELLAS COUNTY HAVE
ALREADY RECEIVED 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN THIS AFTERNOON AND COULD SEE
SOME MORE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING
AS MORE THUNDERSTORMS TO CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND MOVE NORTH
NORTHWEST.

FORECAST...MODELS IN GENERAL AGREEMENT NEXT FEW DAYS WITH MOVEMENT OF
SYSTEMS. ABUNDANT MOISTURE WILL CONTINUE TO STREAM INTO FORECAST AREA
AS SOUTHEASTERLY FLOW CONTINUES TO DEEPEN. SLIGHTLY DRIER AIR IN THE
MID AND UPPER LEVELS WILL MOVE OVER REGION TONIGHT AND TUESDAY AHEAD
OF UPPER TROUGH MOVING THROUGH BAHAMAS. HOWEVER...INTERACTION
BETWEEN SOUTHEAST FLOW AND WEST COAST SEA BREEZE SHOULD STILL CAUSE
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS STORMS TO DEVELOP TUESDAY AFTERNOON. BY
WEDNESDAY THIS TROUGH/VORT AXIS WILL BECOME ELONGATED AND STALL AS IT
MOVES INTO CENTRAL FLORIDA AND THIS COMBINED WITH THE ABUNDANT
MOISTURE AND SEA BREEZE WILL CAUSE SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS MAINLY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP ONCE AGAIN. CONVECTION
SHOULD FIRST DEVELOP ALONG WEST COAST SEA BREEZE DURING MIDDAY AND
EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS EACH DAY AND ALSO OVER SOUTHERN INTERIOR ZONES
AND THEN MOVE NORTHWEST. SOUTHEAST FLOW AROUND 10 MPH WILL ALSO KEEP
WEST COAST SEA BREEZE NEAR COAST EACH DAY.

MARINE...SURFACE RIDGE AXIS SHOULD REMAIN NORTH OF FORECAST AREA
SO EAST TO SOUTHEAST FLOW IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE FOR MOST OF THE
WEEK WITH WINDS REMAINING UNDER 15 KNOTS.
