WEST CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST FLORIDA FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TAMPA BAY AREA - RUSKIN FL 1242 PM EDT SAT JUN 24 2000 CURRENTLY: CONVECTION BEGINNING TO POP ALONG A COUPLE OF BOUNDARIES AS WE REACH THE CONVECTIVE TEMPERATURE IN THE MID 80S. ONE BOUNDARY LEFT OVER FROM MORNING ACTIVITY EXTENDS FROM NORTHERN POLK COUNTY SOUTHWESTWARD TO SOUTHEASTERN HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY. THIS BOUNDARY SHOULD CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHEASTWARD IN LIGHT SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW. GULF SEA BREEZE BOUNDARIES ARE STARTING TO MAKE THEIR PRESENCE KNOWN...BUT ARE STARTING OUT QUITE A BIT LATER THAN YESTERDAY WITH ONLY A BIT OF INWARD PENETRATION SO FAR.
