   CENTRAL AND EASTERN NEW YORK                           
   VERMONT                            

EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 100 PM UNTIL 600
PM EDT.

TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO
60 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 80 STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST
OF A LINE FROM 65 MILES EAST OF BINGHAMTON NEW YORK TO 25 MILES
EAST NORTHEAST OF NEWPORT VERMONT.

STEEP...SUFFICIENT MOISTURE AND CONVERGENCE APPEAR PRESENT TO
SUPPORT STORM DEVELOPMENT AS HEATING CONTINUES THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON FROM ERN NY NEWD INTO NRN/WRN NEW ENGLAND.

AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
