EFFECTIVE THIS SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 415 PM UNTIL 900
PM CDT.

HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70
MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 70 STATUTE MILES
EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM WATERLOO IOWA TO 35 MILES NORTH
NORTHWEST OF WAUSAU WISCONSIN.

NWRN IA.  CONVECTION IS DEVELOPING ALONG/AHEAD OF COLD FRONT MOVING
INTO UNSTABLE AIR MASS WITH SBCAPE OF 3000-3500 J/KG.  SWLY MID
LEVEL WINDS OF 40-45 KT ARE PROVIDING SUFFICIENT SHEAR TO ENHANCE
SEVERE POTENTIAL.
