THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SHANNON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI
  SOUTHERN TEXAS COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 115 AM CDT

* AT 906 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WERE CONTINUING ACROSS SOUTHERN 
  TEXAS AND MUCH OF SHANNON COUNTY.  THESE STORMS CONTINUE TO MOVE 
  EAST AT 30 MPH OVER THE SAME AREAS.  DOPPLER RADAR WAS ESTIMATING
  4 TO 5 INCHES OF RAINFALL WITHIN THE WARNED AREA.

* TRAINING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH
  FLOODING TO OCCUR. 

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE IN
THE WARNED AREA.
