THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHERN HOWELL COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI
  NORTHEASTERN DOUGLAS COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI

* UNTIL 1245 AM CDT

* AT 840 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL NEAR WILLOW SPRINGS...MOVING
  EAST AT 35 MPH. THESE STORMS CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE SAME AREAS OF
  NORTHERN HOWELL COUNTY AND NORTHEASTERN DOUGLAS COUNTY.  
  DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED 4 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN WITH THESE STORMS. 
  
* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH
  FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLASH
  FLOODING INCLUDE...WILLOW SPRINGS AND MOST OF NORTHEASTERN DOUGLAS COUNTY.
