THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN FRANCISCO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN SANTA CRUZ COUNTY IN CENTRAL CALIFORNIA

* UNTIL 900 PM PST

* AT 530 PM...THE STREAM GAGE ON THE CORRALITOS CREEK AT FREEDOM
  INDICATED THE CREEK LEVEL WAS WITHIN A FOOT OF FLOOD STAGE. THE
  CREEK WAS CONTINUING TO RISE.

* RAIN RATES FOR THE PAST THREE HOURS ACROSS THE CORRALITOS BASIN
  HAVE RANGED ANYWHERE FROM A QUARTER INCH TO A HALF INCH PER HOUR.
  RADAR AND SATELLITE DATA INDICATE MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN
  WILL CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS...RESULTING IN CONTINUED RISES
  ON THE CORRALITOS CREEK.


DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO
CROSS SAFELY AND THE ROAD BENEATH MAY NOT BE INTACT. VEHICLES
CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. IT ONLY TAKES
