UNSEASONABLY COLD UPPER LEVEL TROUGH MOVED INTO OREGON AND
WASHINGTON TODAY. SNOW LEVELS WILL RANGE FROM 3500 FEET TO 4000
FEET TONIGHT OVER THE EASTERN CASCADES AND THE BLUE MOUNTAINS. THE
AVN BRINGS SOME DYNAMIC FORCING INTO EASTERN OREGON THIS EVENING.
THEREFORE HAVE ISSUED A LOW END SNOW ADVISORY FOR THE BLUE
MOUNTAINS...CALLING FOR 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW ABOVE 3500 FEET. DID
NOT ADD ANY FROST OR FREEZE WORDING DUE TO MOIST CONDITIONS AND
SUSTAINED OVERNIGHT WINDS EXPECTED IN THE COLUMBIA BASIN AND THE
FOOTHILLS OF THE BLUE MOUNTAINS.

AS THE UPPER LEVEL TROUGH MOVES EAST OF OUR REGION ON
THURSDAY...HIGH PRESSURE WILL BEGIN BUILDING INTO OUR REGION DURING
THE EVENING. HAVE REDUCED PRECIPITATION CHANCES TO JUST A SLIGHT
CHANCE OVER THE MOUNTAINS ON THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY.

EXTENDED...MAJOR CHANGE AS THE EXTENDED MODELS NOW MOVE THE
OFFSHORE CLOSED LOW FURTHER SOUTH AND BUILD A WEAK RIDGE OVER THE
EASTERN PART OF WASHINGTON AND OREGON AHEAD OF THE OFFSHORE TROUGH.
WILL KEEP A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS SATURDAY ONLY OVER THE BLUE
MOUNTAINS...OTHERWISE MOSTLY CLOUDY. PARTLY CLOUDY AND SLIGHTLY
