THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LINCOLN COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF FAYETTEVILLE

* UNTIL 12 AM CDT

* AT 838 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A NARROW
BAND OF VERY HEAVY RAIN THAT STRETCHED FROM PETERSBURG TO
FAYETTEVILLE AND BACK INTO NORTHERN ALABAMA AND NORTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI.  THE STORMS ARE MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

SINCE 645 PM CDT...RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF OVER 1 INCH HAVE OCCURRED
FROM BOONSHILL TO COLDWATER TO TAFT.  PUBLIC REPORTS SOME STANDING
WATER ACROSS LOW WATER BRIDGE CROSSINGS FROM COLD WATER TO CASH
POINT.  ANOTHER 1 TO ONE AND ONE A QUARTER INCHES IS EXPECTED DURING
THE EVENING HOURS.  THIS WILL LEAD TO SOME FLASH FLOODING.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING ME'ANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN
DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT
IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK HIGHER GROUND.
