PRECIPITATION AND THE ASSOCIATED DYNAMICS WITH APPROACHING SHORT
WAVE.

DYNAMICS WITH THIS SYSTEM ALL POINT TO SIGNIFICANT PRECIPITATION
OVER SOUTHERN WISCONSIN. WE ARE IN THE RIGHT REAR OF THE 250MB JET.
MODERATE 700 MB MOISTURE CONVERGENCE WITH STRONG VERTICAL MOTION.
NOSE OF A 40 TO 50 KNOT 850MB SETS UP NEAR AND S OF OUR FORECAST
AREA BY 12Z. PRECIPITABLE WATER AMOUNTS RANGE FROM 1.5 TO 2.0
HOWEVER FLASH FLOOD GUIDANCE IS OVER 3.0 INCHES. SOME DISCREPANCY IN
MODELS ON WHERE THE MAX RAINFALL WILL BE...BUT MOST MODELS SHOW IT
MORE NORTH TOWARD CENTRAL WI CLOSER TO UPPER JET.

BEST SYSTEM SUPPORT APPEARS TO EXIT THE REGION BY THE AFTERNOON BUT
RAIN SHOULD LINGER INTO AFTERNOON...ESPECIALLY IN E AREAS.  WILL ADD
