THERE IS ABOUT A 3 HR WINDOW FOR WIDELY SCT SHOWERS OR TSTMS TO DEVELOP...BUT THE OVERALL SYNOPTIC AND MESO SCALE ENVIRONMENTS ARE BECOMING LESS FAVORABLE. LOSS OF INSOLATION AND LARGE MARITIME INFLUX INTO THE LOW LEVELS WILL CERTAINLY INHIBIT CONVECTION. IN ADDITION...IT APPEARS THAT A SPEED MAX WHICH ENHANCED CONVECTION IN VCNTY OF CLT IS ABOUT TO MOVE OFFSHORE. AM HESITANT TO TAKE POPS COMPLETELY OUT THOUGH. FRONT IS NR RDU/SOP AND COULD INTERACT WITH REMNANTS OF RESULTANT BREEZE. MSAS INDICATING ENOUGH WEAK LOW LEVEL CONVERGENCE AND INSTAB TO KEEP A RISK OF SOMETHING DEVELOPING TIL ABOUT MIDNIGHT.
