MORE RECORD HEAT IS IN THE FORECAST...WITH TEMPERATURES ABOVE 100
DEGREES IN MOST AREAS.
HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS THE DOMINANT WEATHER FEATURE...BUT THE HIGH
WILL MOVE SLOWLY SOUTHWEST OVER THE WEEKEND. TEMPERATURES WILL COOL
SLIGHTLY AS A RESULT...WITH AFTERNOON READINGS DROPPING INTO THE 90S
IN EASTERN ARKANSAS. EVEN WITH A TEMPERATURE DROP...READINGS WILL
REMAIN WELL ABOVE NORMAL.
THE RAIN SITUATION WILL NOT IMPROVE. STORM SYSTEM OVER SOUTHEAST
UNITED STATES WILL NOT HEAD MUCH FARTHER WEST. MOISTURE SURROUNDING
THE SYSTEM WILL STAY MOSTLY EAST OF ARKANSAS. THERE IS A WEAK
SURFACE TROUGH ACROSS EASTERN ARKANSAS THAT MAY TRIGGER ISOLATED
