THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LINCOLN HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  KNOX COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS

* UNTIL 715 AM CDT

* AT 415 AM CDT...RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OCCURRING OVER
  KNOX COUNTY. OVER 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS BEEN ESTIMATED SINCE 2 AM.

* THUNDERSTORMS WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE
  AREA. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY EXCEED 3 INCHES...ESPECIALLY
  FROM GALESBURG TO KNOXVILLE. THESE RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY
  PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODS. IT IS VERY DIFFICULT AT NIGHT TO JUDGE HOW
MUCH WATER COVERS ROADWAYS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS.
