ELLSWORTH COUNTY IN CENTRAL KANSAS * UNTIL 715 AM CDT. * AT 110 AM CDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THAT UPWARDS OF 4 INCHES HAVE FALLEN OVER PARTS OF ELLSWORTH COUNTY. THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE REPORTS THAT DITCHES AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS WERE FULL... ESPECIALLY IN THE KANOPOLIS AREA. RADAR INDICATED THAT ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL AND CONTINUED RUNOFF CAN BE EXPECTED IN THE ELLSWORTH COUNTY AREA THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING HOURS...ONLY MAKING CONDITIONS WORSE.
