CONVECTION ONGOING OVER THE SRN 2/3 OF THE CWA EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.
THE MAIN FORECAST ISSUE IS CONVECTION...WHICH WILL BE AFFECTED BY
THE LOCATION OF BOUNDARIES...OCCASIONAL UPPER LEVEL SUPPORT...AND
DECREASING PRECIP WATER TREND. THE SHORT TERM MODELS ARE IN GOOD
AGREEMENT SYNOPTICALLY EXCEPT FOR THE CENTRAL GULF SYSTEM THE
AVN/MRF GENERATE BY MIDWEEK. AGREE WITH NHC/HPC GUIDANCE THAT
TROPICAL DEVELOPMENT IS UNLIKELY. PREFER THE ETA FOR MOST
ELEMENTS...WITH TEMPS SOMETHING NEAR AN FWC/FAN AVERAGE..THE MAV
GUIDANCE LOOKING TOO WARM.

OVERALL...THE MAIN FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL SAG SOUTH...STALL...AND
WEAKEN OVER SERN TX. CONVECTIVE OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES AND THE
SEABREEZE WILL PROVIDE EXTRA FOCI. AN UPPER LEVEL SHORTWAVE WILL AID
CONVECTION ON TUE...AND PRECIP WATER WILL DECREASE ABOUT 1/4 INCH
EACH DAY FROM NEARLY 2 INCHES TODAY TO 1.75 MON...AND 1.5 TUE.
WINDS ARE AND FORECAST TO BE WEAK AT ALMOST EVERY LEVEL...INDICATING
NO MAJOR SEVERE THREAT...BUT SLOW MOVING STORMS...ECHO TRAINING...
AND THUS THE THREAT OF HEAVY RAIN. SO MUCH WILL DEPEND ON THE
MESOSCALE THAT SPECIFICS WILL BE DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY BEYOND THE
FIRST TWO PERIODS. SUFFICE TO SAY POPS WILL BE LOWER IN THE
NORTH...HIGHEST ALONG THE COAST...A BIT HIGHER TUE THAN MON...AND
SCT COVERAGE IN THE EXTENDED PERIOD. WILL ISSUE AN HAZARDOUS WEATHER
OUTLOOK FOR HEAVY RAIN...ALTHOUGH MOST LOCATIONS WILL SIMPLY BENEFIT
FROM SOAKING RAINS.
