* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  JACKSON COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS

* UNTIL 1030 PM CDT

* AT 840 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A NORTH-SOUTH ORIENTED BAND
  OF VERY HEAVY RAINFALL SLOWLY SHIFTING NORTHEAST ACROSS JACKSON COUNTY.
  HOURLY RAINFALL RATES OF AROUND 3 INCHES ARE OCCURRING OVER CENTRAL AND
  EASTERN JACKSON COUNTY.

* FLOODING IS EXPECTED IN OR NEAR...
  LA WARD...GANADO

AN ADDITIONAL 3 INCHES OF RAIN IS LIKELY TO OCCUR DURING THE NEXT HOUR OVER
EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE COUNTY CREATING A FLASH FLOOD THREAT.

WATER VAPOR IMAGERY IS SHOWING WEAK DISTURBANCE MOVING INTO CENTRAL
TEXAS WHICH HAS HELPED TRIGGER TONIGHTS CONVECTION. CRP SOUNDING
STILL SHOWS PW'S AOA 2.25 INCHES...WHILE THE LCH SOUNDING IS
SOMEWHAT QUESTIONABLE WITH PW'S AT 0.57 INCHES. PRIMARY CONCERN
TONIGHT IS HOW LONG THIS SYSTEM WILL LINGER...ENTRAINMENT OF CELLS
AND FLOODING POTENTIAL. FLASH FLOOD WATCH DROPPED FOR TONIGHT AND AM
HESITANT TO REISSUE BUT THINK FLOOD POTENTIAL OVER THE SOUTHWESTERN
