WITH FRONT COMING THROUGH TONIGHT...

ONCE AGAIN TEMPS ARE CLIMBING NICELY ACROSS THE CWA AS WINDS MAINLY
OUT OF THE SOUTH AND DEWPOINTS ABOUT 10 DEG LOWER THAN SUNDAY. SFC
LOW BTWN ABR AND FARGO WITH FRONT STRETCHING INTO NEB NEAR VTN AND
THROUGH CDR. STILL HAVE DECENT PRESS RISES BEHIND FRONT AND THINK
IT SHOULD CONT TO PUSH TOWARDS OUR CWA. PREFRONTAL TROUGH LOOKS TO
BE NEAR WESTERN PART OF CWA. FRONTAL SITUATION VERY SIMILAR TO
SATURDAYS EXCEPT 8 TO 10 HOURS SLOWER.

AS FOR RAIN CHC TONIGHT...POSITIVES INCLUDE THE APPROACHING FRONTAL
BOUNDARY AND A WEAK WAVE SEEN ON 12Z UPPER AIR ANALYSIS FROM WESTERN
DAKOTAS TO EASTERN CO. THIS STILL CAN BE SEEN ON PROFILER DATA 700
MB CHART AS IT IS THROUGH MRR AND PLT BUT STILL APPROACHING RWD AND
NLG. ALSO A PLUS WOULD BE THE PROGGED LOW LEVEL JET FOR TONIGHT
WITH 35 TO 40 KTS EXPECTED INTO WEST/CNTRL PART OF CWA.  ON THE DOWN
SIDE...AIR MASS IS QUITE DRY IN THE LOW AND MID LEVELS AND MAIN
REASON FOR HIGH PRECIP WATER VALUES WOULD BE SUBTROPICAL PLUME.
WIND FLOW VERY WEAK AT 500 MB NEXT 48 HRS AND THERMAL RIDGE JUST TO
OUR WEST THIS A.M.  NO CU DEVELPMNT NOTED ATTM.  BEST CHC FOR RAIN
LOOKS TO BE WELL NORTHEAST OF US...IN AREA OF HIGHER LOW LEVEL
MOISTURE...UPPER LEVEL FORCING AND BEST INSTABILITY. AM INCLINED TO
TAKE OUT POPS FOR TONIGHT. PROB IS THAT IF WE DO GET A STRAY TSTM
IT COULD DROP HEAVY RAIN.

TOMORROW MAY BE A REPEAT OF SUNDAY WITH TEMPS HINGING ON HOW FAR
FRONT MAKES IT. LOOKS TO STILL BE HOT IN KS CWA...WITH FRONT NEAR
NEB/KS LINE. A LITTLE COOLER NORTH BUT STILL AROUND 90. WILL NEED A
MENTION OF POPS TUES NIGHT AS WITH FRONT IN AREA AND WEAK WAVES
COMING THROUGH RIDGE. CAPPING A CONCERN BUT LOW LEVEL JET ALSO
PROGGED TO PICK UP AGAIN.

FURTHER OUT...ALL MODELS CONT WITH UPPER RIDGING AND WEAK SFC FRONTS
SO AM INCLINED TO LEAVE IN SLIGHT CHC FOR NOCTURNAL TSTMS.
