SYNOPSIS...HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE GREAT BASIN WILL CONTINUE TO BRING
AN EASTERLY FLOW TO NORTHERN ARIZONA FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS. THE CHANCE
OF AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER MOST OF THE
RIM COUNTRY WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK. OTHER AREAS
WILL STAY MOSTLY SUNNY AND DRY.

DISCUSSION...UNLIKE YESTERDAY...BIGGEST ACTION TODAY OVER THE
COCONINO PLATEAU AND CHUSKAS WITH STORMS DEVELOPING AND MOVING
QUICKLY WESTWARD WITH THE UPPER FLOW. EASTERN RIM AND NORTHERN GILA
COUNTY RELATIVELY QUIET SO FAR...WITH A CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS
MOVING WESTWARD FROM NEW MEXICO INTO THE EASTERN LCR. EASTERLY FLOW LOOKS
TO CONTINUE FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS. WITH LIMITED UPSTREAM MOISTURE
SEE A CONTINUATION OF THE CURRENT TREND OF CONVECTION FIRING OFF
DURING THE AFTERNOON OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN AND THEN MOVING
WESTWARD OVER THE LOWER LYING AREAS. BECAUSE OF THIS...AREAS WELL
WEST OF HIGHER TERRAIN...SUCH AS THE LCR...LIKELY WONT SEE MUCH
