COMAL COUNTY BASTROP COUNTY TRAVIS COUNTY HAYS COUNTY GUADALUPE COUNTY CALDWELL COUNTY * UNTIL 10 PM CDT * AT 730 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LARGE AREA OF NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING SLOWLY NORTH AT AROUND 15 MPH ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS. THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING RAINFALL RATES OVER 2 INCHES PER HOUR. * RAINFALL TOTALS OVER THE WARNED AREA SINCE WEDNESDAY HAVE EXCEEDED 6 INCHES IN A FEW AREAS WITH LARGE AREAS OF 4 TO 6 INCH RAINFALL AMOUNTS ESTIMATED BY RADAR. THESE HEAVY RAINFALL RATES ARE COMBINING WITH THE WATER FROM PREVIOUS RAINS TO PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES.
