THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE QUAD CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  DELAWARE COUNTY IN NORTHEAST IOWA
  BUCHANAN COUNTY IN NORTHEAST IOWA

* UNTIL 730 PM CDT

* AT 331 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES
THAT BETWEEN THREE AND FOUR INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN NORTHERN
BUCHANAN AND NORTHERN DELAWARE COUNTIES SINCE THIS MORNING.
THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE MOVING ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH 5 PM.

* THE GROUND HAS ALREADY BEEN SATURATED BY RECENT RAINFALL...
  ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN IS RESULTING IN EXCESSIVE RUNOFF...LEADING
  TO FLASH FLOODING IN THE WARNED AREA.

NUMEROUS ROADS WERE WASHED OUT IN BUCHANAN COUNTY.  REPORTS OF A
COUPLE OF ROADS WASHED OUT NEAR GREELEY AND EDGEWOOD HAVE BEEN
RECEIVED FROM THE DELAWARE COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
