THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE PA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  TIOGA COUNTY.

* UNTIL 100 AM EDT.

* AT 937 PM EDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED A
  THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL 8 MILES SOUTHEAST OF
  WELLSBORO...OR ABOUT 5 MILES WEST OF BLOSSBURG...MOVING EAST
  AT ONLY 5   MPH.

SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE 
WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING IN CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN TIOGA COUNTY.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
