SOUTHEASTERN AND EASTERN CARTER COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST MONTANA * UNTIL 945 PM MDT * AT 916 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR REPORTED A LINE OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH DAMAGING WINDS OVER SOUTHEASTERN AND EASTERN CARTER COUNTY...MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. * THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE NEAR ALBION BY 920 PM MDT. AN UPPER LOW OVER SOUTHERN SASKATCHEWAN WITH A TRAILING VORTICITY TROUGH INTO EASTERNMOST MONTANA WAS QUICKLY EXITING THE STATE. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS OVER CUSTER AND FALLON COUNTIES...BUT INSTABILITY TRIGGER WAS QUICKLY MOVING INTO THE DAKOTAS. ONLY STORM ACTIVITY OVER THE FORECAST AREA AT THE MOMENT IS OVER CARTER COUNTY. A NEARLY FLAT 500MB HEIGHT RIDGE MOVES IN FOR THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. WILDFIRE SMOKE HAS REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN THE LIVINGSTON AREA. WILL ISSUE AN UPDATE TO ZONES TO REMOVE ISOLATED STORMS FOR WEST AND CENTRAL FORECAST AREA. MINIMUM TEMPS LOOK GOOD.
