DEEP SOUTH TEXAS FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BROWNSVILLE TX 200 PM CDT WED JUL 26 2000 A RIDGE ALOFT CONTINUES TO DOMINATE MOST OF THE FORECAST AREA WITH SUBSIDING AIR. THERE IS LITTLE IN THE AIRMASS TO STOP CURRENT BOMBARDMENT OF SUNSHINE WHICH CONTINUES TO COAX AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES INTO TRIPLE DIGIT NUMBERS OVER MUCH OF DEEP SOUTH TEXAS. LITTLE CHANGE IS IN STORE FOR MOST. HOWEVER...A MEDIOCRE TROPICAL LOW IN THE MID AND UPPER LEVELS REMAINS STATIC AND MOSTLY DORMANT OVER THE WEST GULF OF MEXICO.
