* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  GREENE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEW YORK
  ULSTER COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL NEW YORK

* UNTIL 330 AM EDT

* AT 1025 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
  RAIN OVER MUCH OF GREENE AND ULSTER COUNTIES. RAINFALL AMOUNTS HAVE
  ALREADY REACHED 3 TO 6 INCHES ACROSS MUCH OF THIS AREA. RAINFALL...
  HEAVY AT TIMES...WILL CONTINUE UNTIL WELL AFTER MIDNIGHT. AN
  ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN WILL FALL RESULTING IN
  WIDESPREAD FLOODING ACROSS GREENE AND ULSTER COUNTIES...WITH MANY
  STREAMS AND CREEKS FLOODING AND MANY ROADS BEING WASHED OUT. IN
  ADDITION MUDSLIDES ARE A STRONG POSSIBILITY.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGEzRS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
