PROBLEM(S) OF THE DAY:

TEMPERATURES

UNSTABLE/WEAKLY CAPPED ATMOSPHERE HAS RESULTED IN ISOLATED TO WIDELY
SCATTERED TSRA THIS AFTERNOON OVER NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA. WITH THE
EXCEPTION OF MINOR PLACEMENT DISCREPENCIES...MODELS IN GENERAL
AGREEMENT WITH SYNOPTIC SCALE FEATURES. LOOKS LIKE CURRENT PATTERN
WILL HOLD AT LEAST THROUGH THIS FORECAST CYCLE. LEE TROUGHING WILL
KEEP RETURN FLOW OVER ALL OF FA. MID LEVEL SHEAR AXIS MENADERS AROUND
REGION AS WELL. WITH WEAKLY CAPPED ENVIRONMENT ALREADY IN PLACE AND A
HINT OF UPPER SUPPORT...WILL GO AHEAD WITH SLIGHT CHANCE POPS ALL
PERIODS. WITH NO REAL SURFACE BOUNDARIES OR UPPER SUPPORT TO SUSTAIN
ORGANIZED CONVECTION...STORMS WILL LIKELY DIE OUT AS HEATING OF DAY
IS LOST. WILL GO AHEAD AND CONFINE POPS TO AFTERNOON AND EVENING
WORDING. FAN/FWC NUMBERS LOOK GOOD SO WILL STICK CLOSE TO THEM.

IN THE EXTENDED...CURRENT PATTERN LOOKS TO HANG ON THROUGH EXTENDED
PERIOD. LATE IN THE WEEK MID LEVEL SHEAR AXIS MOVES EAST AND H7 TEMPS
LOOK TO WARM SLIGHTLY. WILL KEEP SLIGHT CHANCE POPS THROUGH FRIDAY
BUT LEAVE SATURDAY DRY WITH WARMER MID LEVEL TEMPS AND SHEAR AXIS
EAST OF THE AREA.
