NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PITTSBURGH PA
155 AM EST FRI JAN 9 1999

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PITTSBURGH IS EXTENDING THE

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MONROE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL OHIO.

* UNTIL 900 AM EST.

* AT 130 AM...AREA LAW ENFORCEMENT INDICATED THAT SOME ROADWAYS WERE 
STILL BEING AFFECTED BY HIGH WATER FROM LOCAL STREAMS AND CREEKS. 
THE WATER LEVELS WILL REMAIN HIGH FOR A FEW MORE HOURS BEFORE 
RECEDING AROUND 9 AM.  

STATE ROUTE 78 NEAR THE NOBLE COUNTY BORDER HAS A SINGLE LANE CLOSED 
DUE TO HIGH WATER. ADDITIONAL PRECIPITATION OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL 
HOURS SHOULD BE IN THE FORM OF SNOW WHICH WILL TEND TO MINIMIZE ANY 
ADDITIONAL RISES ON STREAMS AND CREEKS.
