* HEAVY RAINS HAVE CAUSED STREAMS TO RISE RAPIDLY ACROSS NEW
HAVEN COUNTY. SPECIFICALLY THE QUINNIPIAC RIVER AT WALLINGFORD HAS
SHOWN THE SHARPEST RISE DURING THE PAST COUPLE OF HOURS AND WILL
LIKELY GO OUT OF ITS BANKS SHORTLY. OTHER SMALL STREAMS IN NEW
HAVEN COUNTY MAY EXPERIENCE SIMILAR RISES SO RESIDENTS NEAR THEM
SHOULD TAKE NOTICE.
