* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTH AND EASTERN JEFF DAVIS COUNTY IN TEXAS
  SOUTHERN REEVES COUNTY IN TEXAS

* UNTIL 145 AM CDT

* AT 1036 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED            
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM NEAR SARAGOSA TO SOUTHEAST 
  OF BALMORHEA...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED BY THIS FLASH FLOOD WARNING INCLUDE...     
  TOYAVALE...BALMORHEA..SARAGOSA...FORT DAVIS.

HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED TO DECREASE ACROSS THE AREA THROUGH 1230 AM 
HOWEVER EARLIER HEAVY RAINS HAVE CREATED EXCESSIVE RUNOFF... 
ESPECIALLY IN BALMORHEA WHERE FLOODING HAS BEEN REPORTED. RUNOFF  
FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND 
STREAMS...UNDERPASSES...LOW WATER CROSSINGS...AND NORMALLY DRY 
WASHES.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
