THE STORM PREDICTION CENTER HAS INDICATED THAT A SLIGHT RISK OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXISTS ACROSS CENTRAL KENTUCKY AND
SOUTH-CENTRAL INDIANA THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS SOUTHERN
MISSOURI...ILLINOIS AND SOUTHWARD INTO ARKANSAS.  THESE
THUNDERSTORMS WERE ALONG AND AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT THAT WILL REACH
CENTRAL KENTUCKY AND SOUTH CENTRAL INDIANA OVERNIGHT.  HOWEVER...THE
FURTHER EAST THE STORMS TRAVEL THE MORE STABLE AIRMASS THEY WILL
ENCOUNTER.  ALTHOUGH PRESENT INDICATIONS ARE THAT THE STORMS WILL
WEAKEN DURING THE EVENING HOURS...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS REMAIN
POSSIBLE.

THE MAIN THREAT FROM THESE STORMS IS LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS.
HEAVY RAIN AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ALSO CAN BE EXPECTED.
