  LARGE AREA OF HEAVY RAIN FROM SOUTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY NORTHWARD
  INTO SOUTH CENTRAL INDIANA. THE RAIN WAS MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH
  AND WILL TRAIN OVER AREAS THAT HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED 2 TO 4 INCHES
  OF RAIN OVER THE PAST 24 HOURS. SOME ROADWAYS HAVE ALREADY BEEN
  CLOSED WITH WATER DEPTH OF 6 INCHES TO A FOOT.

ONE TO TWO INCHES OF ADDITIONAL RAIN SHOULD FALL OVER THE WARNED
AREAS BY MIDNIGHT WHICH WILL LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING OVER A WIDESPREAD
AREA OF CENTRAL KENTUCKY AND SOUTH CENTRAL INDIANA.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN CARS. NEVER ATTEMPT TO
CROSS ROADS...BRIDGES...DIPS OR LOW SPOTS COVERED BY WATER. THE
WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW SAFE PASSAGE. NEVER TRY TO
CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL ONE..ON FOOT. MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND IF NECESSARY.
