* AT 411 PM PDT... DOPPLER RADAR AT ELKO INDICATED A SEVERE
  THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF BATTLE MOUNTAIN MOVING NORTH
  AT 35 MPH.

ABUNDANT MID LEVEL MOISTURE HAS BUBBLED INTO LOTS OF TOWERING
CUMULUS AND EVEN SOME CUMULONIMBUS. VERY DRY LOWER LEVELS IS
ABSORBING THE SHOWERS MAKING FOR SOME NICE LOOKING VIRGA VISTAS.
DOWNBURSTS FROM THE VIRGA IS CAUSING AREAS OF GUSTY WINDS TO 30
MPH. EVEN A LIGHTNING STRIKE OR TWO HAS BEEN NOTED OVER OUR CWA.
THIS ACTIVITY WILL CONTINUE THIS EVENING AS THE LOW OVER NORTHERN
CALIFORNIA MOVES NORTHEASTWARD INTO OREGON AND IDAHO. THUS...WILL
KEEP ISOLATED POPS IN ALL OUR ZONES TONIGHT.

SOUTHWEST FLOW RETURNS TOMORROW. MUCH DRIER AND MORE STABLE AIR
SPREADS OVER MOST OF THE STATE. THE EXCEPTION IS THE EXTREME
EASTERN PORTION. THIS TO CONTINUE INTO FRIDAY. SO WHITE PINE
COUNTY WILL SEE SOME MORE AFTERNOON CLOUDS WITH A POSSIBLE
THUNDERSTORM. TEMPERATURES TO REMAIN ABOVE NORMAL AS NO REAL COLD
FRONT TO MOVE THROUGH NEVADA FROM THE CURRENT LOW PRESSURE OVER
NORTHERN CALIFORNIA.

XTDD...ANOTHER WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM ALONG THE CALIFORNIA COAST
SATURDAY MOVES ONSHORE TO CENTRAL CALIFORNIA SUNDAY AND MONDAY.
