THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE INTO SOUTHWEST MISSISSIPPI AND THE EAST CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA PARISHES FROM NEAR BATON ROUGE SOUTH TO HOUMA BETWEEN NOON AND 2 PM. WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MILES PER HOUR...BRIEF HEAVY RAIN AND HAIL ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS. DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND LARGE HAIL SHOULD BE ISOLATED. THE AIRMASS FARTHER EAST FROM MCCOMB TO NEW ORLEANS AND EAST ACROSS THE MISSISSIPPI COASTAL COUNTIES WILL BE VERY UNSTABLE THIS AFTERNOON...BUT THERE WILL BE LESS MOISTURE AVAILABLE TO SUPPORT THE CURRENT INTENSITY OF THE THUNDERSTORMS.
