A LARGE SLOW MOVING UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE AND COLD FRONT WILL MOVE
ACROSS SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA AND SOUTH MISSISSIPPI THIS AFTERNOON.
THE UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE IS PROVIDING A VERY FAVORABLE SETUP FOR
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AND HEAVY RAIN TODAY.  IN ADDITION...BECAUSE
THE ATMOSPHERE IS SO MOIST AND UNSTABLE...AND THE LOW AND MIDDLE
LEVEL WINDS PATTERN ARE FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. SOME
OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS COULD PRODUCE STRONG WINDS DAMAGING WINDS...
LARGE HAIL AND TORNADOES. 2 TO 3 OF RAIN COULD FALL WITHIN A FEW
