THE MAIN THREAT WILL BE HEAVY RAIN. HOWEVER...SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON OR TONIGHT. GULF MOISTURE WILL REMAIN ENTRENCHED AND THE ATMOSPHERE IS MODERATELY UNSTABLE OVER THE AREA. THE UPPER LEVEL LOW AND SURFACE LOW WILL REMAIN OVER TEXAS THROUGH TONIGHT. STRONG UPPER LEVEL WINDS...WHICH HELP PRODUCE AND PROLONG STRONG AND SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...WILL REMAIN OVER TEXAS THROUGH TONIGHT. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SEVERE WEATHER MAY OCCUR SATURDAY AS THESE WEATHER FEATURES MOVE CLOSER. ACTIVATION OF STORM SPOTTERS...EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERSONNEL...AND HAM RADIO OPERATORS WILL NOT BE REQUIRED THROUGH TONIGHT. HOWEVER...
