MODELS ARE SIMILAR IN MAINTAINING WEAKENING UPPER RIDGE AXES OVER THE LOCAL AREA THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. ETA APPARENTLY DEVELOPS AN ANOMALOUSLY STRONG SHORTWAVE IN SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW OVER CENTRAL TEXAS MID-DAY TODAY SINCE THIS FEATURE IS ABSENT FROM AVN/NGM. ACCORDING TO AVN/NGM...MID/UPPER LEVEL LOW WILL BE WANDERING AROUND EASTERN GULF THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING WITH AVN SHOWING AN OVERALL WEST DRIFT AND NGM SHOWING LITTLE MOVEMENT. AT THE SURFACE...RIDGE WILL CONTINUE TO EXTEND SOUTHWEST OR WEST OVER THE AREA. RELATIVELY DRY CONDITIONS ARE PROGGED THROUGH TUESDAY. NGM AND AVN APPEAR TO BE PRETTY SIMILAR SO NGM MOS OUTPUT SHOULD BE PRETTY GOOD WITH MINOR ADJUSTMENTS. APPEARS TO BE TOO DRY FOR SIGNIFICANT THREAT OF PRECIPITATION THROUGH FORECAST PERIOD. WITH AVN DEPICTING UPPER LOW DRIFTING WEST TO SOUTH OF MOBILE BAY TUESDAY AND MOISTURE HIGHER EXTREME EAST PART OF AREA WILL CALL FOR CHANCE POPS EXTREME EAST PART TUESDAY WITH SLIGHT CHANCE OF RAIN ELSEWHERE MAINLY DURING THE AFTERNOONS MONDAY AND TUESDAY.
