LAFAYETTE PARISH IN SOUTHWESTERN LOUISIANA * UNTIL 800 PM CDT * AT 550 PM ...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED THAT 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS THE CITY OF LAFAYETTE DURING THE PAST HOUR. 1 TO 3 INCHES OF ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA OVER THE NEXT 2 HOURS. * FLOODING OF ROADS AND LOW LYING AREAS CAN BE EXPECTED. AFTERNOON HEATING / WEAK UPPER LEVEL SHORT WAVE ENHANCING CONVECTION ATTM. DUE TO THE SLOW MOVEMENT / TWO INCH RAINFALL RATES...
