A STATIONARY FRONT WILL PERSIST FROM NORTHEAST LOUISIANA TO NORTHEAST
MISSISSIPPI MUCH OF PERIOD. A DEEP LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER TEXAS WILL
MAINTAIN SOUTHERLY FLOW THAT WILL FORCE A CONTINUOUS STREAM OF
MOISTURE INTO THE REGION. PERIODS OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT. A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE LARGE HAIL
OR STRONG WIND BUT THE MAIN WEATHER THREAT TODAY AND TONIGHT WILL BE
THE POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING RAINS. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH HAS BEEN ISSUED
FOR WESTERN AND NORTHERN ZONES FOR TODAY. THE WATCH WILL LIKELY BE
EXTENDED INTO TONIGHT.
