THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  FRANKLIN PARISH IN NORTHEASTERN LOUISIANA

* UNTIL 1030 PM CDT

* AT 915 PM...RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN
  12 MILES WEST OF WINNSBORO...MOVING SLOWLY SOUTHEAST.

* AT 845 PM...THE FRANKLIN PARISH CIVIL DEFENSE DIRECTOR REPORTED
  THAT FOUR INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN SINCE 7 PM...RESULTING IN
  MINOR PONDING OF WATER ON ROADS. THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE
  ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN OF ONE TO TWO INCHES ALONG HIGHWAY 135
  BETWEEN FORT NECESSITY AND LIDDIEVILLE...WHICH WILL WORSEN THE
  FLOODING.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGER OF FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE
ROAD!
