THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAY HAS EXTENDED THE

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN PISCATAQUIS COUNTY IN CENTRAL MAINE

* UNTIL 300 PM EST

* AT 930 AM EST...EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED FLOODING
  IN LOW LYING AREAS ALONG THE PLEASANT AND PISCATAQUIS RIVERS.

ICE JAMS CONTINUE TO CAUSE SOME PROBLEMS ALONG THE PISCATAQUIS AND
PLEASANT RIVERS. THE ROAD LEADING TO THE PLEASANT RIVER BRIDGE IN
MILO REMAINS CLOSED BECAUSE OF FLOODING DUE TO AN ICE JAM. MANY LOW
LYING AREAS ARE STILL FLOODED ALONG THE PISCATAQUIS RIVER DUE TO
ICE JAMS AS WELL.

WALTER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO FALL DURING THE DAY AS COLD WEATHER
HALTS THE RUNOFF FROM YESTERDAYS RAIN AND SNOWMELT.

DON'T DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD!
