THUNDERSTORMS MAY APPROACH SEVERE LIMITS ACROSS MUCH OF THE FORECAST AREA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. THE MAIN CONCERN WILL BE HEAVY RAINFALL AND POSSIBLE FLASH FLOODING. VERY WARM AND MOIST AIR ON SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL ALSO RAISE THE HEAT INDEX INTO THE 90 TO 100 RANGE.
