...MUCH COOLER AIR TO MOVE INTO THE TRI-STATE AREA BY SUNDAY

ATTM A DRY LINE HAD DEVELOPED EAST OF GLD AND EXTENDED SOUTHWEST
INTO COLORADO. TSRA HAD DEVELOPED ALONG THE DRY LINE BUT WARM AIR
ALOFT IS KEEPING THE ACTIVITY TO A MINIMUM ATTM. THE 88D WAS
ALSO SHOWING SHRA/TSRA WERE OCCURRING ALONG THE NE/KS BORDER AND THIS
SHUD MOVE INTO THE CWA THIS AFTN WITH AN IMPRESSIVE SFC COLD FRONT TO
FOLLOW. BEFORE THE FRONT DOES...A 5H/VORT TROF WITH INCREASING MID
LVL MOISTR WILL MOVE THRU THE TRI-STATE AREA THIS AFTN. 7/5H LAPSE
RATES WERE BETTER THAN 7C/KM AND WITH MID LVL CAA...TSRA SHUD CONT
DEVELOPING AHEAD OF THE ADVANCING FRONT. ALSO WITH A 2H/LFQ JET
ENHANCING UPR LVL DVRG...A FEW OF THE STORMS SHUD BECOME STRONG
IF NOT SEVERE.

THE ETA/NGM WERE IN FAIRLY GOOD AGREEMENT WITH THE SFC COLD FRONT
PUSHING ACRS THE FA DURING THE NIGHT WITH FROPA IN GLD BY 06Z. MUCH
COOLER AIR WILL ADVT INTO THE CWA ON NORTHERLY WINDS AND AS PRESSURE
GRADIENTS TIGHTN...THESE WINDS SHUD BECOME WINDY TOWARD MORNING. GLD
TIME SECTIONS HAS LOW LVL MOISTR INCREASING AND PATCHY FOG IS
POSSIBLE TOWARD MORNING. ALSO AS MID LVL MOISTR CONTS TO INCREASE...
SKIES SHUD REMAIN MOSTLY CLOUDY. DEPENDING ON THE SFC WIND DIRECTION
WHICH APPEARS TO BE NNE...UPSLOPE MAY OCCUR AND SKIES MAY REMAIN
MOSTLY CLOUDY THROUGH MIDDAY. A DRY SLOT WORKS ITS WAY INTO THE N/E
CWA BY AFTN WHERE SOME SUN IS POSSIBLE. 5H/HGHTS AND THCKNS FALL AND
TMPS SHUD ONLY RISE INTO THE 60S TO AROUND 70 ACRS MOST OF THE FA.

WITH COOLR AIR CONTINUING TO ADVT INTO THE AREA BELOW AVERAGE
NITE TIME TMPS WILL OCCUR MONDAY MORNING. MORNING TMPS WILL FALL
INTO THE 40S WITH POSSIBLE 30S AT SOME LOCATIONS. THE COLD FRONT
THAT MOVES ACRS THE CWA WAS ASSOCIATED WITH A STRONG MID LVL LOW
PRESSURE OVR THE GREAT LAKES. SEVERAL WEAK DISTURBANCES WILL SPIN
AROUND THE LOW AND APPROACH THE FA MONDAY THUS KEEPING SKIES PARTLY
CLOUDY. ALSO WITH LOW 5H/HGHTS THE COOL TMPS SHUD PERSIST.

AS THE LOW OVR THE GREAT LAKES PUSHES EAST...A COUPLE OF WEAK
DISTURBANCES DEVELOP JUST SW OF KANSAS AND TRACK NE TUE/WED. THIS
MAY AFFECT OUR S/E FA DURING THIS PERIOD AND THEN DRIFT ALITTLE
FURTHER NORTH WED INTO THURS.
