THE AREA HAVING THE GREATEST THREAT WILL BE SOUTHEAST OF A LINE FROM ELBERTON TO MONROE TO AMERICUS...BUT SEVERE STORMS CANNOT BE RULED OUT ANYWHERE IN THE STATE TODAY. A MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS REMAINS IN PLACE OVER THE SOUTHEASTERN STATES. AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES IN THE 80S TO LOWER 90S AND A SLOW MOVING FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL COMBINE TO TRIGGER SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.
