INTERESTING SITUATION CONTINUING TO EVOLVE FOR LATE THIS AFTERNOON
TONIGHT OVER THE REGION. AN UPPER LOW SPINNING OVER MICHIGAN WILL
SLOWLY WEAKEN WITH TIME AND LIFT ENE ACROSS ONTARIO/QUEBEC AND
NORTHERN NY STATE. VERY JUICY AIR IN PLACE OVER PA (SURFACE
DEWPOINTS >60F) WITH MOIST SOUTHWESTERLY JET FUELING CONVECTIVE
ACTIVITY THIS AFTERNOON.

AT PRESS TIME...ONE LINE OF STRONG/SEVERE TSRA MOVING THROUGH THE
SUSQUEHANNA VALLEY. ANOTHER AREA OF SHRA/TSRA IN WESTERN PA...WITH A
THIRD LINE TRYING TO ORGANIZE ALONG THE ACTUAL COLD FRONT IN CENTRAL
OHIO. THE BIG QUESTION IS - HOW MUCH CONVECTIVE/SEVERE ACTIVITY WILL
AFFECT CENTRAL PA BEFORE THE FRONT PASSES ACROSS LATE TONIGHT?

WILL CARRY LIKELY POPS ALL COUNTIES TONIGHT. EXPECT A COUPLE OF
BROKEN LINES OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO AFFECT CENTRAL PA THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. DAYTIME HEATING HAS DESTABILIZED THE AIR...
BUT THE BEST DYNAMICS DO NOT REACH THE AREA UNTIL AFTER SUNSET. THUS...
ISOLATED SEVERE WEATHER WILL CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON AND LINGER INTO
THE EVENING BEFORE THE ACTIVITY WEAKENS TO SHOWERS.

A SHORTWAVE ASSOCIATED WITH A JET STREAK WILL PUSH IN FROM THE
NORTHWEST EARLY THURSDAY...AND BUMP THE FRONT EAST AWAY FROM PA.
THERE WILL BE A CHANCE OF INSTABILITY SHOWERS EARLY IN THE DAY...BUT
BY AFTERNOON DRIER AIR WILL TAKE OVER AND CLOUDS WILL DECREASE.

COOLER THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY AS HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN. WEEKEND
LOOKS DRY AS TEMPS AGAIN CREEP UPWARD.
